The five things that move a card's worth

Check these before you ask for a number.

Rarity

Illustration rares, secret rares and full arts pull far more than commons. Rarity is tagged on every card in our set lists.

Condition

A PSA 10 can be worth 5–10× a raw near-mint copy. The app shows graded prices separately from ungraded.

Pokémon popularity

Charizard, Pikachu and Eevee cards hold value better than niche Pokémon. The market reacts fast to hype.

Print & age

Older, smaller-print sets (first edition Base, Neo, E-Card) command a premium that modern prints can't match.

Variant

Reverse holos, promos and alt arts often sell for multiples of the non-holo. Always check the variant.

Frequently asked questions

How much is my Pokémon card worth?

It depends on the set, rarity and condition. Scan the card in the app and you'll see the current market value plus a live eBay link in seconds.

Are older cards always worth more?

Not always. Age helps, but print size, condition and Pokémon popularity matter more. A modern Charizard illustration rare can out-value a common 1999 Base Set card.

Should I grade my card before selling?

Only if it's near mint and the graded price clearly beats grading + shipping costs. The app shows graded vs. raw pricing so you can do the math before you submit.

Where does the pricing data come from?

Market prices are sourced from PriceCharting, and the eBay button opens live listings so you can cross-check with actual marketplace activity.
